- 11th Annual Student Leadership Conference Report and Download
The eleventh annual Student Leadership was a wonderful success. Our conference theme was “Be Strong and Courageous”
(Joshua 1:9) with lessons from David, Saul, Nehemiah and Esther. The
students’ comments at the end of the conference reveal a growing
passion to courageously answer God’s call on their lives even though
challenges may be great. Here are a few of their own words:
- “I made a decision to receive Jesus Christ as my Savior, and I hope to have the strength to lead people in the name of Christ.”
- “Before
I came here I felt spiritually dead. I felt no meaning in life. I put
on a ‘happy mask’ every day. But through the talks and seminars I’ve
begun to feel alive. I feel like I have meaning in life. Thank you.”
- “I
was inspired to greater leadership. I have much more of a burden to
reach out to people in my school, to lead with greater integrity and
passion.”
- “Ken Rudolph helped me learn about the traits of
leadership. I also made many awesome friends which I will keep the rest
of my life. I learned many things that I will treasure in my heart
forever.”
- “There’s not enough space to explain how AMAZED I am!”
- “I’m going home with a burning desire to change things in my school TOGETHER with my students.”
